Qianlong Six-Character Mark
The front incised with two five-clawed dragons chasing the flaming pearl amongst flames,all within an aubergine double ring medallion,the inner wall plain with a single ring also in aubergine below the rim,the exterior rim incised with four cranes in flight,alternating with cloud banks. Six character sealmark of Qianlong in aubergine and of the period,1736-1795.
